GIVING TUESDAY - GCI's Agents of Positive Change

Updated: May 21, 2021

GCI Agents of Positive Change: Jessica, Sari and Krissy

Dear GCI Community,

Last week we announced that GCI will launch The GCI Global Challenge during the summer of 2021. The GCI Challenge is an innovative virtual program for secondary school students that continues GCI’s focus on ethics, leadership and empowering agents of positive change through project-based learning. We are excited to offer this online experience as an alternative to the GCI Summit/Fellowship and GCI Seminar, which we will resume in 2022.

The GCI Global Challenge will be open to a greater number of students from even more locations around the world. Participants in the GCI Global Challenge will explore a pressing global issue and devise a potential solution, just as GCI Fellows have done in person at the Summit since 2014. We are encouraged by the many enthusiastic comments we have received from students, parents, educators and supporters about the prospect of GCI’s first online program and look forward to its launch.

On this Giving Tuesday, we hope that you will continue to support GCI and our agents of positive change, including our GCI Ambassadors - like Jessica, Sari and Krissy – as well as those who will participate in the GCI Global Challenge and in future GCI Fellowships. We could not engage the next generation or grow our impact without donations from you and other members of our global community.

Visit our donation page or text GCIGIVE2020 to 44-321 to help us engage, educate and empower tomorrow's leaders.

Your support means so much to us and to the young global citizens that we work with every day. Thank you!

Sincerely,

Yumi Kuwana and the GCI Team
