Meet the 2026 GCI Fellows!

Global Citizens Initiative (GCI) and Bald Mountain Meadow (BMM) are excited to welcome a new and intentionally cultivated cohort of exceptional students from around the globe to start their ten-month GCI Fellowship by gathering at the 2026 GCI Summit in St Andrews, Scotland. Fellows will explore global issues through the lens of ethical leadership, while learning new frameworks for dialogue and problem-solving rooted in mutual respect and empathy. We come together to renew our resilience and hope for a better future as we support one another and our students in a time marked by global conflict, social change, and ongoing uncertainty.
The purpose of the Fellowship is to immerse students in a holistic, experiential learning environment that fosters sharing, reflection, and growth. Through meaningful dialogue, hands-on problem solving, and cross-cultural collaboration, the program nurtures each participant to become a positive agent of change. The goal is to empower students to make a difference in their own communities and to build a lifelong, life-changing network of peers from around the world.
