A Special Opportunity to Gather With GCI's Founder
Yumi Kuwana, the Chair, President, and Founder of Global Citizens Initiative, will be joining GCI for the GCI Alumni Celebratory Gala in New York City. Yumi is excited to reconnect with Alumni, parents, mentors, and friends of GCI as we gather together to celebrate how far this community has come and all that it looks ahead to in the future. The evening wouldn’t feel complete without her, and we’re thrilled she’ll be part of the celebration.

We invite all members of the GCI community to join us for an unforgettable evening at the iconic Harvard Club of New York City as we gather to celebrate the strength, spirit, and worldwide impact of Global Citizens Initiative.
The Celebratory Gala is more than a dinner; it’s a moment to pause and honor the every part of GCI's journey. Alumni, parents, friends, and supporters will come together under one roof to share stories, spark new connections, and celebrate the leaders who continue to carry GCI’s mission into the world. Set against the backdrop of one of New York City’s most historic venues, we’ll hear inspiring reflections from across our community and share in conversations that highlight the lasting impacts of the GCI community.
Whether you joined us at the Summit years ago or have supported GCI from afar, this is your invitation to step into the larger story we are building together and to toast to what’s ahead.
Minors (age 17 and younger) are welcome to attend and must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 18 years old.

To help make this celebration accessible to our global community, a limited amount of travel support is available to GCI Alumni and will be distributed on a rolling basis. Alumni can indicate their need for travel assistance directly within the registration form. If you are in need of travel support, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible by beginning the registration form below.

GCI Alumni Impact Award
The GCI Alumni Impact Award honors GCI Alumni whose leadership, service, or professional work has produced meaningful and enduring change. This award recognizes Alumni who have taken the values cultivated through the GCI Fellowship and translated them into real-world action.
Members of the GCI community, including Alumni, families, educators, partners, and friends, are invited to submit nominations for Alumni whose work reflects the spirit of GCI in action and whose contributions merit recognition.
The winner of the GCI Alumni Impact Award will receive a custom plaque and $1,000 cash prize, awarded at the GCI Alumni Celebratory Gala on October 9, 2026, at the Harvard Club of NYC.
Support Alumni Travel
As a global Alumni community, we recognize that the cost of travel can be a barrier to gathering in person. Optional contributions from GCI community members help offset travel costs and make it possible for more Alumni to attend the GCI Alumni Celebratory Gala.
